I am running mandriva 2008.1. I am a VERY basic user. I recently purchased a WD MY BOOK MIRROR 1TB external hard drive and a logictech squeezebox duet to put my music on. Neither one will run when I plug the usb plugs into my tower.i have done alot of looking on the net to see what is up with them. I have found that they both WILL run on mandriva 2008.1 but there is a # of steps that I would need to take to get them running.My problem is I don't know shit on how to work in a shell. I live in Waterloo and have called around trying to find someone that knows how to work mandriva but no such luck. I am more than willing to pay to have this set up on my computer. Is there anyone out there that would care to help?
